1. Data Controller

The Data Controller for the personal data collected through https://marcomarasco.com/ (the "Site") is **Marco Marasco**, acting as a private individual.

For any request concerning the processing of personal data, the Controller can be reached at: me @ marcomarasco.com.

2. Data Collected

Through the Site, the following data is collected, directly or indirectly:
- Anonymous browsing data, via Google Analytics, with IP address anonymization (pages visited, traffic source, time on site).
- Data voluntarily provided by the user when booking an appointment through Calendly (e.g. name, email), which is also governed by Calendly's own privacy policy.

At present, the Site does not include direct contact forms, restricted areas, or user registration.

3. Purposes of Processing

Data is processed to:
- analyze, in aggregated and anonymous form, how the Site is used, in order to improve its content;
- manage appointment requests made through Calendly.

4. Legal Basis

Processing is based on the Controller's legitimate interest in understanding how the Site is used (anonymized analytics data) and on steps taken at the user's request prior to entering into a contract (booking an appointment).

5. Cookies and Google Analytics

The Site uses Google Analytics with IP address anonymization enabled. Please note that, according to guidance from data protection authorities, the use of Google Analytics may involve the transfer of data to servers located in the United States; depending on the specific technical configuration, a cookie consent banner may be required before the tool is activated.

Note: please confirm with whoever manages the Site's technical setup that any cookie banner in place matches this policy.

6. International Data Transfers

The third-party services used (Google Analytics, Calendly) may involve the transfer of data outside the EU, based on the safeguards provided by the respective providers (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

7. Data Retention

Anonymized analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default settings. Appointment-related data is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request, unless otherwise required by law.

8. Your Rights

As a data subject, you have the right to request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing, under Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

9. Future Applications and Projects

Any applications or projects published on the Site in the future are not, at this time, designed to collect users' personal data. Should this change, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly and, if necessary, a project-specific notice will be made available.

10. Changes to this Policy

The Controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, by publishing the updated version on the Site.
